Professional Background
Dr. Stroup graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Massachusetts and obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. He completed his internship at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, his general surgery residency at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, and his plastic surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University. He holds licenses to practice in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Teaching Appointments
Since going into full-time private practice in 1997, Dr. Stroup has been an active medical staff member of Hillcrest Hospital and Geauga Regional Hospital. He is currently the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Hillcrest Hospital.
Publications and Presentations
Dr. Stroup's work has been published in the Plastic Surgery Review, the Annals of Plastic Surgery as well as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a frequent lecturer and speaker on a variety of topics relating to cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Stroup has operating privileges at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital in Chardon, The Wright Surgery Center in South Euclid, and The Zeeba Ambulatory Surgery Center in Lyndhurst.
Society Memberships
Dr. Robert Stroup is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. The requirements for membership in the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) are designed to encourage application by trained and experienced plastic surgeons who concentrate their practices in performing cosmetic plastic surgery of the face and the entire body. ASAPS membership remains an exclusive privilege for those surgeons who possess the necessary qualifications. Only about one-quarter of all American Board of Plastic Surgery certified surgeons have been accepted into ASAPS membership. Dr. Robert Stroup is also an active of member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. This society requires all members be board certified in the field of plastic surgery. Dr. Stroup earned his Board Certification in Plastic Surgery in 1992. Advanced Concepts in Plastic Surgery is proud to be an active member of the Better Business Bureau.

Because they are dispensed by medical professionals, these products contain higher levels of active ingredients than those allowed in department or drugstore lines. We also offer a complimentary in-office skin analysis to ensure your skincare regimen is a perfect fit for your individual needs and we supervise your skincare program.
Payment Options
Cosmetic surgery is an excellent investment in an individual's well being. Because of this, we believe financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining this procedure. Being sensitive to the fact that different patients have different needs, we provide the following payment options:
Monthly Payment Option through Care Credit
Care Credit is a flexible monthly payment option we offer. It is specifically designed for cosmetic surgery - with some payment plans offering 0% interest. You may apply online or over the phone by calling (800) 677-0718.
CASH OR CHECK
If you prefer to pay by cash or check, payment in full is due at your pre-surgical visit, two weeks prior to surgery. We accept personal and certified checks, but not business checks.
