Dr. Michael R. Schwartz, a double board-certified plastic surgeon in Thousand Oaks, combines both art and medicine to create natural-looking, aesthetically-pleasing results for his patients. Michael R. Schwartz, MD, FACS provides a full range of cosmetic surgery options for the face, breast, and body, including; breast augmentation, breast reduction, liposuction, facelift, nose surgery (rhinoplasty), tummy tuck, labiaplasty, and more. He also offers many minimally invasive and nonsurgical cosmetic treatments, such as laser skin resurfacing, injectable dermal fillers, BOTOX® Cosmetic, and Ultherapy®.

Professional Background

Dr. Michael Schwartz completed his undergraduate degree at the University of the Pacific and went on to earn his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Southern California, followed by a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Schwartz continues to stay abreast of the latest advanced plastic surgery technologies and techniques and presents at prestigious medical conferences. He is a member of a variety of professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the California Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Teaching Appointments

Previously, Dr. Schwartz served as a clinical instructor of advanced laparoscopic surgery at the University of Southern California, Department of Surgery.
