About the Practice

Practice Philosophy

Dr. Tavin wants to help you achieve your aesthetic goals. The process begins with exploring your concerns about your appearance. What would you like to change? What is your time frame for treatment and recovery?

Next Dr. Tavin will inform you of your options and realistic expectations of the results that can be achieved. For example, breast augmentation in a 73 year old is not the same as in a 34 year old. What results can be expected if a lift is recommended along with implants, but you choose to only get the implants? You can see these real-life cases on the website.

Dr. Ellis Tavin attends 2-3 national plastic surgery meetings a year to keep current on the latest techniques and advances in aesthetic plastic surgery. He was one of the first plastic surgeons in Memphis to utilize several innovative techniques, such as Coleman fat grafting, the Lassus glandular mastopexy (that uses your own breast tissue to add fullness to the upper pole of the breast), and the Brazilian Butt Lift. He was an early adopter of shaped breast implants, round gummy-bear implants (highly cohesive), and pre-pectoral breast reconstruction.

Every patient is an individual. Dr. Tavin and his staff will educate you and guide you through the experience of transforming your appearance to help you rejuvenate, restore, and refresh your appearance.
