Botox treatments

Is there a patient age or a point after long-term use that a doctor would recommend ending Botox treatments (either for loss of effectiveness or for health concerns)?

Botox has been used for many years, (initially in children with eye muscle problems) without long term problems. Although a few people eventually fail to respond as well as initially, this is unusual and I have never seen it. It has also been used by others and myself in the elderly over 80 years old without problem.

Based on the long history of Botox use (over 20 years) there is no evidence suggesting that long-term use has any health concerns.
