Practice Specialization

Dr. Singh maintains an active surgical practice focusing on breast surgery, microvascular reconstruction, abdominal wall reconstruction, diagnosis and treatment of lesions, and aesthetic surgery. His research interests include minimally invasive plastic surgery, endoscopic techniques, and computer-assisted and robotic assisted plastic surgery.

Teaching Appointments

Dr. Navin K. Singh is an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Division of Plastic, Reconstructive and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is an attending surgeon at Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Center for Cosmetic Surgery, and the UMMS R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and mathematics from Brown University, and graduated at the top of his class at Brown University Medical School. He also holds a Masters degree in Clinical Biostatistics from Harvard.

Publications and Presentations

Dr. Singh is widely published and is a member of many prestigious national surgical organizations such as The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American College of Surgeons, and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has been published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Annals of Plastic Surgery, and is on the editorial board of The Aesthetic Surgery Journal. He has contributed book chapters for Current Therapy in Plastic Surgery, AO Manual of Internal Fixation of the Craniomaxillofacial Skeleton, Surgical Therapy, and Alarm Bells in Medicine. As an educator, he teaches at board review courses and writes for the annual in-training examination for plastic surgery. He has been featured in both print and broadcast media for his innovative work.

Speaking Engagements:
Dr. Singh speaks nationally and internationally on microvascular reconstruction, breast reconstruction, complex abdominal wall reconstruction, advances in liposuction, and preserving nipple-areolar sensation following reduction mammoplasty. He is a requested speaker on many topics at the major medical centers here in the USA and has been sought to perform surgery on numerous international dignitaries and royalty both here and abroad.

Awards & Honors

Dr. Singh has received the "Hero Award" from the Shock Trauma Center as well as two "Teacher of the Year" Awards from the Johns Hopkins Plastic Surgery Residents.
