Dr. Capek received her doctorate from McGill University. She received specialized training in plastic surgery at Washington University and earned a Fellowship in Pediatric Plastic Surgery and Craniofacial Surgery from the University of Toronto, Hospital for Sick Children.

Our staff is available 5 days a week to schedule your private consultation.
Dr. Capek will meet with you at our Latham, New York office to listen to your concerns, goals and desires. She will carefully evaluate your unique needs and then discuss in detail the different options available to you. The advantages, disadvantages and alternatives of each approach will be reviewed with you and you will have every opportunity to have your questions answered to your satisfaction. This initial visit is an information and planning session, which will allow you to decide if plastic surgery is right for you. We want you to feel comfortable and confident in your choice to proceed with surgery, or any other procedure we offer.
At your initial consultation you will be given a written estimate of any applicable fees, and the opportunity to schedule your surgery, if you wish.
We also offer Online Consultations via telehealth using the phone and video apps. These are detailed and personalized consultations with Dr. Capek and our Licensed Aesthetician Kelly for those of you who cannot make it into the office. Some of our patients travel for treatment with us, so this may be a convenient way for you to get to know our practice.

Dr. Capek performs both non-surgical and surgical procedures in her Office Based Operating Suite and at the fully accredited hospital, Ellis Medicine. Dr. Capek has been operating at Ellis Medicine for over 25 years. While she has privileges at numerous local hospitals, this is her preferred facility. Safety is always our primary concern and for this reason, should your procedure require conscious sedation or a general anesthetic, Dr. Capek and a board-certified anesthesiologist will work together to keep you comfortable during your surgery.
