Dr. Rothaus is an honors graduate of Yale College and the Harvard Medical School with additional honors in research from both institutions. He did his internship and residency in general surgery at the New York Presbyterian Hospital (Columbia) and his residency in plastic surgery at the New York Presbyterian Hospital (Cornell). He then completed a fellowship in microsurgery at the prestigious hand/microsurgery institute at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Rothaus is an attending and on the faculty of the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell, the Hospital for Special Surgery and the Weill-Cornell Medical College.
