Graduate of Rutgers University Fifth Pathway at Morristown Memorial Hospital, New York, 1974, serving clinical training in medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics and psychiatry
Surgical Internship 1975-1976, Nassau County Medical Center, New York, successful completion of surgical service
General surgical residency 1976-1980, Nassau County Medical Center, New York. Appointed as Administrative
Chief Surgical Resident 1979-1980. Residency included: Surgical Specialties of Urology, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Emergency Room, Burn Unit and Surgical Research
Graduate 1982 Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, New York City, completing two years of Plastic Surgery Residency
Intensive microsurgical training microvascular laboratory under the direction of Berish Strauch, M.D., consisting of cutaneous, myocutaneous, osteo-myo-cutaneous and free flaps. Laboratory experience of ongoing research in new techniques and principals of microsurgery
Didactic training in Congenital and Acquired Facial Malformations; including the Pediatric, Psychiatric, Neurosurgical, Dental, Genetic and Endoscopic workups of the patient with craniofacial abnormalities
Personal Microsurgical Experience includes the following: Acute and Chronic distal soft tissue transfer (free flap). Head-Neck reconstruction with myocutaneous and osteo-myo-cutaneous distant soft tissue transfer (free flap)
General Plastic Surgery experience: Cosmetic, Reconstructive, Hand, Craniofacial, Microvascular, Liposuction and Laser
