About the Practice
Dr. Moss is committed to excellence in surgery, results and patient care.
A personal word from Dr Moss (MBBS, Dip. Anat., FRACS)
Since cosmetic plastic surgery is often elective, it is essential that all techniques must be maximally safe and predictable, so no patient is ever placed under any unnecessary risk. It is vital that cosmetic plastic surgery improves and rejuvenates without leaving any unnatural or operated appearance. The surgeon must fully explain the aesthetic aims for surgery so that the patient clearly understands the results expected in that surgeon’s individual hands. This ensures the patient is fully informed, completely involved with all decisions, and fully comfortable with the outcomes planned. Patient’s must receive open and accurate disclosure of the true recovery period, any required time off work and all material risks- this must be provided by the surgeon. Wherever possible, state of the art computer imaging technology should be available to assist patients in visualizing realistic results. Personally, I believe in a classic, natural looking and soft beauty. Changes must be made in accordance with each patient’s individual requests and sometimes this may be subtle- yet never pulled, tight, artificial or imbalanced. Patients want to look better but never like a different person. This can only be achieved when the surgeon truly takes the time and effort to understand each individual patient and their requirements.
Sound surgical judgement, meticulous surgery and state of the art techniques are vital for the best possible result. Consultations, explanations, all surgery plus wound closure, and closely supervised aftercare must be performed by the surgeon.
Dr Moss has special expertise and experience in complex cosmetic plastic surgery of the face (including facelift and eyelid surgery), nose (rhinoplasty) and breast (augmentation with implants, reduction and uplift). Facial reconstructive surgery, body contouring, liposculpture, non-surgical lip enhancement, anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers and skin cancer treatments are performed regularly.
