Upper arm and inner thigh lift

I am considering an upper arm and inner thigh lift, can they be done at the same time and can the cut be in the groin for leg and underarm for arm, rather than lengthways?

Upper arm lift and inner thigh lift can be done at the same time. As for the incision it depends on what the doctor says. I suggest going in to see a Board Certified Plastic surgeon to see if you are a good candidate for both surgeries and the details of each operation. Thank you for your question and have a great day!

Another very important option/addition to the body contouring field is skin tightening procedures that avoid any skin removal thus avoid long skin scars. The Triplex laser by Cynosure produces very dramatic skin tightening and allows me to now perform more minimum or no-scar arm lifts and thigh lifts than ever before using this technology. It is important to make a consultation with someone that has a lot of experience with this device in order to get the proper level of treatment. What I mean is that often times if you are having something done simply with sedation, the amount of laser treatment can be sometimes less than adequate to produce the collagen shrinkage that you may need. A Board-Certified- Plastic Surgeon that does thigh lifts and arm lifts , but also can offer you the Cynosure Triplex laser treatment is by far the best person to tell you which will work the best in your situation. However, I have no doubt that this treatment is the answer to getting either small scar-or no-scar arm-lifts and thigh lifts in the right group of patients. Good Luck to you!

If a modest amount of excess skin and fat needs to be removed from the upper inner thigh, then the technique of an inner thigh lift by removing skin via an incision along the inner thigh-perineum junction can produce a very nice result. In some cases of massive weight loss this technique may not be able to remove enough skin. An examination by a plastic surgeon will be necessary to determine which technique would be best in your circumstance.

An arm lift (brachioplasty) nearly always requires a lengthwise incision along the inner upper arm to adequately remove the excess skin that is commonly seen. Fortunately, this incision is along the inner arm and is hidden when the arms are down.

For the best results seek the consultation of a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. They have a website listing all the certified plastic surgeons. Members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery will all be board certified in plastic surgery and have demonstrated an interest and competence in cosmetic plastic surgery as well.
