Questions about Brazilian Butt Lift & Tummy Tuck

If my surgeon will combine the two, how long before I can return to my mostly sedentary desk job? If traveling out-of-state: how long should I stay & what to do about post op complications?

Most patient take at least 2 weeks off after a tummy tuck. After Brazilian butt lift, one tries to minimize prolonged sitting on the area. Patients often still on foam pillow and sleep with U-pillows to reduced weight bearing on the BBL. Ideally, patients stay in town 10-14 days after surgery and longer if any postoperative issues.

It is common to combine a tummy tuck with a brazilian butt lift. They can be done safely together. Each doctor gives their own post surgery instructions and it determined on how each patient is healing. You should wait a good 2 weeks before returning to a sedentary work or traveling out of state. You need to have a recommended amount of post surgery checkups to monitor your healing process. You need to have constant communication with your doctor. If a complication arises, your plastic surgeon needs to be notified immediately for the best advise and care.

Yes, some plastic surgeons combine the Tummy Tuck with the Fat grafting to the Buttocks or Brazilian Buttocks Lift. These are not minor procedures & often require assistance with recovery. Post operative travel can also be an important safety issue. Consider addressing your concerns with the surgeon(s) you are speculating performing your surgery.
