Can botox cause permanent paralysis?

On Aug. 26 I had 20 units of botox for crows feet. 5 days later I had some filler done and the plastic surgeon put some dysport under eyes due to “bunching.” A few days ago I noticed my left cheek/lip is drooping and its very hard to move that side of my face. Did I do permanent damage?! Is that possible with too much botox or should it fade over time?

Most likely, the second Dysport injection paralyzed the zygomaticus muscle, the muscle that controls the mouth and cheek. This should dissipate as the neurotoxin wears off.
