Nipple piercings after breast reduction
I had a breast reduction in early August 2018 and I want to get my nipples pierced. I was wondering if I was good to go ahead or need to wait a little longer for healing?
Healing should generally be sufficient for piercing after 6-8 weeks. However this is a question best answered by your own surgeon, based on his or her techniques and knowledge of your recovery and healing. I suspect your surgeon's office would be happy to hear from you and answer your individual question. Give them a call. Best Wishes.

There is no reason you cannot get nipple piercings 9 months after a reduction procedure. In fact, if your nipples have lost some sensation, it makes the piercings a little easier so for for it.

Thank you for asking. Usually patients have healed to the maximum level after 6 weeks but talk with your plastic surgeon about your specific case. Hope this helps! Best wishes!
