I need help on how to restore my buttocks shape that was destroyed by Bilateral SGAP surgery. I have not seen any buttocks like mine.

When my doctor closed me up, he lifted the outside of my butt cheeks up high and towards the center squeezing my butt cheeks together permanently. My middle infragluteal folds are now lower than the outside of my buttocks, plus my cheeks are now surgically squeezed together. I have reached out to many doctors but have no real solutions. What would be the best approach to restore my buttock shape?

This is more information than I believe you have provided on RealSelf when I have tried to answer your question. Repair of these is not common which you had asked before. The entire donor site scar may need to be revised. As mentioned by others in this forum and other fat grafting may be an option. In examination would be necessary to provide more options.

Thank you for submitting your question. Donor site closures can often permanently alter the appearance of the area - sometimes this can be improved, other times the change is just too much to overcome. Depending on the surrounding skin laxity, fat grafting to the area may be an option. It is always best to partner with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to develop a plan that will help you try to achieve the look you desire. Time and patience are always good allies since complex reconstructions can take multiple procedures to arrive at the optimal outcome. Best wishes on finding a solution that works for you!
