help
In the last 2 and a half years I have lost over 100 pounds doing low carb. While I should feel proud of what I have done I am more depressed now than ever. The loose skin makes me feel incredibly hideous. At 5 foot 1 I weighed nearly 250 pounds. I have kept it off for a really long time now...only fluctuating 2 pounds up or down. Money is extremely tight right now so I can't spare any money, but I really need the help for my mind. There is not a day I look in the mirror and like what I see. Is there someone out there that can help me?
Great work!! Weighing less will allow you to live much longer. At 5"1" & 250 lbs you still have a ways to go to achieve your "Ideal Body Weight." May I suggest you set goal weight to consider your 1st Aesthetic Surgery. Focus in on what rely bothers you. Consider the cost of the surgery like purchasing a boat, motorcycle, ATV or truck that is just for you. Start saving a little each month for the down payment. Yes, you are doing great & there is light at the end of the tunnel but, you are not there yet. Keep up the good work. Best,

Thank you for sharing your weightloss experience. It is a wonderful achievement. Unfortunately, with massive weightloss, there can be an accummulation of loose skin. The best option for you is a post bariatric body lift. The first step is to have an evaluation with a board certified plastic surgeon. In order to improve the shape of the overall body, a surgery plan needs to be organized. It can take 3 - 5 separate surgeries to achieve the best results.
