Richard A. Baxter MD
About the Practice
A formally trained artist and board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Baxter is known for state of the art techniques and technologies to create natural looking results.
Dr. Baxter is a nationally recognized expert in revision breast surgery, anti-aging, and nonsurgical technologies. His original research on subjects such as the internal bra has been cited hundreds of times, and patients come from across the country for his unique experience.
Body contouring procedures, including tummy tucks and liposuction, are considered when diet and exercise aren't enough.
It is well known that attractive breasts contribute to a woman's sense of femininity, attractiveness, and well-being. For this reason, breast surgery including augmentation, reduction, lifting (mastopexy), and reconstruction is the largest single category of plastic surgery.
Dr. Baxter's emphasis with all facial procedures is a natural look, using state of the art techniques and an artistic perspective.
Sometimes a surgical procedure will give the best results, other times non surgical options work well, and often a combination is better still. By offering state of the art technologies as well as the latest surgical techniques, we are able to provide a comprehensive approach to aesthetic rejuvenation.
When not in the operating room or teaching at a medical conference, Dr. Baxter can be found working on his Argentine tango or in the art studio drawing from the live model. His drawings appear in the background throughout his website.
