Professional Background
Dr. Delgado joined the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group staff in San Rafael, California, in 1988. In 1989, Dr. Delgado left Kaiser to open a private practice in Novato, California, adjacent to the original Novato Community Hospital on Hill Road. When Novato completed a new hospital facility on Rowland Way in 2001, Dr. Delgado joined many other Novato physicians in moving their practices to the new campus. It was on the new Novato Community Hospital campus that Dr. Delgado chose to open Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center. There he could provide his surgical patients, not only with private concierge care in a state-of-the-art surgical facility but also with that extra measure of safety and reassurance based on the surgery center’s contiguous location to a full-service hospital.

I have two babies. My tummy is huge and I have very tiny breasts (I am a 36A). Is it possible to use fat harvested from my tummy to increase my breast size? Also, is breast augmentation safe for breast feeding if I happen to have another baby after a few years?

Yes, fat grafting to the breast is done more and more to increase breast size. However, much is not known about the long term affect of fat in the breast and how it could imitate breast cancer. The position of the Am Society of Plastic Surgery is not to do it at this time until more research is done regarding the long term effects. I have performed fat to breast but I discuss this at length with my patients. Good Luck.

I'm 2 months post-op and unhappy with my size. Before I was a 32DD/E and am now a full D. I wish to go down to a B or small C (I know cups vary, but this is so that you know around how much I still want taken off). How soon could I have a revision safely and what are my options other than breast…

If you want to be a full size smaller you will most likely need a repeat surgery with the same incisions. You could try liposuction if you have a good amount of fat component to your breast but they will sag. You may want to go back to your surgeon to discuss your options. Good Luck.

My numbness is felt everywhere my beard would be, except upper lip and frontal portion of my chin. It's driving me crazy. Is it normal to have numbness that far forward on the face, including cheeks?

Numbness after a facelift is very common and is the norm. A large part depends of the type of facelift and extent of the skin dissection. Discuss this with your plastic surgeon to make sure all is going well. Good Luck.

You really need to be examined by a plastic surgeon to determine the best plan of action. You are very young for a forehead lift and Botox would possibly help at your age. Good luck.

Dr. Delgado gives his patients a full comprehensive consultation, including computer imaging. He takes his time with each patient answering all questions. Patients are shown before and after photos of actual patients. The patient coordinator will give a written quote with a breakdown of the fees.
