Background & Certification
Dr. Kneessy is double Board-certified in General Surgery by the American College of Surgeons, as well as in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Kneessy was born and raised on Long Island. He received his B.S. Degree from SUNY at Stony Brook and obtained his M.D. Degree from SUNY at Buffalo. He completed his General Surgical Residency at New York Hospital and his Plastic Surgical Fellowship at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. He received additional training at Westchester County Medical Center, which included: Cosmetic, Reconstructive and Burn Surgery.
Dr. Kneessy holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Stony Brook University.
