We are proud to announce that Core Plastic Surgery’s on-site surgical center , designed and built by Dr. Core as a state of the art facility with two operating rooms, is certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), an organization that recognizes facilities that meet the gold standards of patient care and safety. To earn this certification, our surgery center met hundreds of criteria and passed an in-depth safety inspection. As one of the over 2,200 outpatient facilities accredited by the AAAASF, we can assure you that your well-being is our top priority and that we have the accommodations to back this up. The operating rooms themselves are equipped with laminar flow air exchange such that the entire air in the room is exchanged every few seconds exactly the same as is done in major hospitals ensuring optimum sterility of the operative environment . No other on-site plastic surgical operating room in the southeast is equipped with this feature. The facility is adjacent to the clinic with convenient back door access for post op patients such that they can be discharged in private after their procedure.
