Surgical Facilities
Our 655 Park Ambulatory Surgery Unit is a state-of-the-art facility that provides the safety of a hospital in the setting of a private office. Besides privacy and a consistent team of experienced personnel, there is the added advantage of an environment free from resistant bacteria commonly found in hospitals. The operating suite was built by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to meet or exceed standards specified by OSHA and the Joint Committee on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The facility is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), the gold standard in outpatient surgery certifying organizations.
