About Christopher J. Pellegrino, MD
Introduction
Dr. Pellegrino always wanted to be a surgeon but his specific interest in plastic surgery began while an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins. “Plastic surgery patients were always the most fascinating to me,” states Dr. Pellegrino. “A plastic surgeon must be a doctor, a technician and an artist. It is what truly inspired me to pursue it as a career.”

Education & Training
A graduate of the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Pellegrino received his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He completed post-graduate training and his residency in general surgery at the Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, and his plastic surgical residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
