Masters thesis topic was the study of flashback in premixing/prevaporizing gas turbine combustors. The thesis consisted of both experimental and analytical work.

NATO Study Fellowship - von Karman Institute de Dynamic des Fluides (1981)
Attended the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Brussels, Belgium. Research grant focussed on the study of lasers and laser doppler velocimetry.
