Can you recommend the type of breast implant suitable for my case?

Dear Doctor, I'm interested in quoting the price of breast enlargement. My breasts are size B although my right breast is visibly smaller than right one and would say its size A rather than B. I would like to enlarge them both to C size. I do not have any medical conditions, and I don't take any medications. I would be grateful if you could quote the price as precise as you can and basing on your experience recommend the type of an implant suitable for my case. Looking forward hearing from you.

The best cosmetic result in any particular breast augmentation patient depends on a variety of factors, including: your individual anatomy, realistic expectations, a thorough discussion with the plastic surgeon about the options, and an understanding of the pros and cons of any particular implant choice. Proper sizing is not just about the number of cc’s. The thickness of your tissue, breast dimensions which include the width, height, and projection, as well as chest wall width all need to be considered when choosing an implant. Trying on implant “sizers” of various shapes and volumes while wearing a tight t-shirt, bra, or bathing sit at a preoperative visit will help you and your surgeon choose the optimal implant. When you start with different size breasts, different size implants may be used on each side to produce the best symmetry.

There are no manufacturers' standards for cup sizing in the bra industry. The cups of a 32 C and a 38 C are significantly different. Cup size varies from manufacturer to manufacturer and even within styles from any particular manufacturer.

Keep in mind that following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you exactly what to do without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.

Prices will vary depending on the extent of the surgery, geographic location as well as the reputation and experience of the plastic surgeon.

From your question it sounds like you would be a good candidate for breast augmentation using a textured gel implant through a periareolar incision and placing the implant under your breast tissue or in a dual plane under your breast in the lower portion and under your muscle in the upper portion. This would depend on the thickness of the upper pole of your breast. If there is enough thickness then under the breast alone would be the most natural feeling and looking breast. As to the size difference between your breast, this could be improved with tow different size implants. As to specifically what size of implants and placement it will require a personal consultation. At that time I would let you try on different size implants and let you decide what size you would like to be. Most women know what they want when they see it.

In breast augmentation I have chosen to spend time reviewing photographs with patients to fully understand their expectation of size and shape. Many times this simply raises more questions. I will make measurements and use the implant guides to allow the patient to understand exactly the sizes that are reasonable for their body type and measurements.
