Basil cell carcinoma from a nose
Does a plastic surgeon remove a basil cell carcinoma from a nose? I have a quarter sized basil cell carcinoma on my nose.
A plastic surgeon most certainly can remove a basal cell carcinoma of the nose. In my practice I like working with a MOH's surgeon who would remove the lesion with minimal sacrifice of normal tissue. This result is a wound that I as the plastic surgeon would reconstruct.
Many Plastic Surgeons perform both the excision & closure of cutaneous malignacies like Basal Cell Carcinoma. Slow MOHS or an equivalent excision may be your best option. Consider a member of the ASAPS in your area. Best,

Typically the removal would be performed by a Moh's surgeon. The reconstruction would be performed by a Plastic Surgeon.
