OK, maybe I haven’t always been SMART about taking care of my skin, my hair, or my body.
- I spent my teenaged years baking in the sun with iodine – not smart
- I’ve gain weight gone on fad diets, cycling back & forth – not smart
- I’ve had a hairdresser shave my hair with a 10 blade – definitely not smart
- I don’t always take my makeup off before going to sleep – I should know better
It happens to the best of us. When I was younger I really didn’t know any better, but with age comes a certain amount of wisdom. While we can’t undo the mistakes that we’ve made in the past, we can ALL take steps in the right direction, to a smarter, healthier way to approach beauty, our bodies, and our lifestyle.
“Smart beauty” is the ability to make informed decisions before making changes. At the ripe old age of 59, I can see the damage that’s already been done, and I want to learn what’s GOOD for me now.
How do I maintain my skin to look its best?
Will exercise alone firm me up, or do I need a little “help” getting the lift that I want?
How do I get rid of this tired look, when I feel so energetic on the inside?
Do I need to have surgery, or will an injectable do the job for me?
As I age, I seem to have more questions, and I want to be smart about my choices. I’m still learning, and I hope that you’ll learn along with me as I delve into the world of getting it right and doing it smart this time around.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or issues that you might be having regarding making smart beauty decisions, and I’ll help you to find the best resources to help you. Thank you for coming on this journey with me.
