2014 Cosmetic Surgery Statistics

According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) 2014 statistics, Americans spent $12 billion dollars on cosmetic procedures with more than 10 million surgical and nonsurgical procedures performed. The top five surgical procedures were: liposuction, breast augmentation, eyelid surgery, tummy tuck and nose surgery. The top five non-surgical procedures were: botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid, hair removal, chemical peel and microdermabrasion.
